I don't know if you can still change things, but if not next illustration watch out for your anatomy, the arms are bending at weird angles. Also look for things to point the viewers eye to that awesome face. maybe have the highest point of contrast there, or put things that circle it or point to it. Mucha does this really well and your stuff is definitely in his art art nouveau style, which is pretty cool. See if you can steal some compositions from him.
Anyway this is exactly what i think Sal was talking about with making your sketches into an illustration. Good stuff. Make more.

Holy Crap. This is too cool! I can forgive the anatomy problems because it is such a great image, but fixing them would make the image better. Also- the lock is getting just a little too close to the head. By simply creating some more negative space around there, it might solve the problem Andrew was talking about.

kristina's right, the arch circles the head enough. make more space around the head and it'll get more attention.
