I really love how your line quality is developing Ricardo- and it works really well in the graphic novel format. I don't care for the 'dot' shading though. To me the mechanical quality of it disjoints the picture too much- since your natural drawing has so much vibrancy. I would love to see how it would look with a gray ink wash in its place.
I look forward to seeing what you do with color. I like the black in white so much it's hard to imagine how color would improve it- but I want to see.
Hahah, yeah I agree with you about the zip tone. It does have an ink wash but it sucks, don't use ink on Rives BFK, it is the worst. For some reason the ink goes into the paper in a really weird way. It just soaks it up in no time, so you can't really push it around and get some nice brush strokes.
And that's the reason for the crappy zip tone...
